Karna – a Ukrainian rock band formed in 1997 in Ivano-Frankivsk. They became known for their unique style of "Hutsul-metal," which blends metal elements with the cultural heritage of the Hutsul people. Over the years, the band has changed several line-ups and released multiple albums. KARNA has actively performed both in Ukraine and abroad. Following the onset of the war in Ukraine, the band continued its creative activities, releasing new music videos and songs, while lead vocalist Oleksiy Yarosh joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Hutsulization – is the fourth album by the band, released in 2024, which includes both new songs and previously released singles such as "Mama Halychyna", "Richard z hir", and "Proshu pana do smereky". This is the first album after the return of lead vocalist Oleksiy Yarosh to the band, with some vocal tracks recorded on the frontlines, where Yarosh serves as a machine gunner. The limited edition of the album includes 399 copies on red galaxy vinyl with a booklet, insert, and poster, all hand-numbered.
