Kiss (1973–2023) – American rock band formed in New York City by Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss. The group became legendary for their vibrant shock-rock stage performances featuring makeup, costumes, fire shows, rockets, and pyrotechnics. Kiss is known for their stage personas: Starchild (Stanley), Demon (Simmons), Spaceman (Frehley), and Catman (Criss). Kiss is one of the most successful rock bands in the U.S. and an influential part of pop culture, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
Creatures of the Night – the tenth studio album by Kiss, released in 1982, and the last for Casablanca Records. The album is dedicated to the memory of Casablanca founder Neil Bogart and is the last recording featuring Ace Frehley as an official member and the first with Vinnie Vincent as guitarist. It is also the last Kiss album with their iconic makeup until the release of Psycho Circus in 1998. The record combines the band's classic sound with new musical influences while maintaining the energy and aggression characteristic of Kiss during this period.
