Kurgan is a member of the legendary Slobozhansk hip-hop group Kurgan & Agregat. Yevhen Volodchenko (Kurgan's real name) is considered to be part of the most authentic hip-hop project in Ukraine, and his songs, both within the group and in his solo career, are recognized as anthems of the current generation. The band is actively involved in volunteer work, and Volodchenko himself joined a volunteer battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Бібліотека квантового суржику (The Library of Quantum Surzhyk) is a split release of two cult releases by Kurgan: Library of Strange Knowledge and Quantum Surzhyk.
Бібліотека странних знаній (Library of Strange Knowledge) is Kurgan's first studio album, released in 2018. It consists of psychedelic tracks that explore the themes of existentialism and the search for the meaning of life. The album differs from Kurgan's debut work in its more experimental sound.
Квантовий суржик (Quantum Surzhyk) is the second solo album by rapper Kurgan, released in 2021. It consists of eight tracks that immerse the listener in deep reflections on the essence of life, human nature, and the place of man in the world.
The album's lyrics are full of metaphors and symbols, which makes them multifaceted and open to different interpretations.
