Lang Lang is a Chinese pianist, known for his performances with leading orchestras and in concert halls worldwide. He began playing the piano at the age of three and quickly gained recognition by winning various competitions in China and abroad. He won first place at an international young pianists' competition in Germany. Lang Lang has performed with leading American orchestras and conductors, drawing attention for his talent and skill.
The Disney Book album by renowned pianist Lang Lang celebrates the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney Company. In this enchanting musical project, Lang Lang invites listeners into the magical world of Disney, performing iconic movie melodies in new arrangements specially created for him by leading arrangers. This album allows audiences to enjoy classical music through Lang Lang's unique interpretation, suitable for listeners of all ages. Disney music has inspired Lang Lang since his childhood: "When I was thirteen, I visited Tokyo Disneyland and heard 'It’s a Small World', and that melody stayed with me all day" said Lang Lang. In 2016, he performed a unique version of "Let It Go" at the opening of Shanghai Disney Resort.
