Limp Bizkit – an American nu metal band from Jacksonville, Florida, featuring frontman Fred Durst, drummer John Otto, guitarist Wes Borland, DJ Lethal, and bassist Sam Rivers. The band is known for Durst's aggressive vocal delivery and Borland's experimental guitar work, whose theatrical appearance (makeup, masks, costumes) became a key part of the live show. Limp Bizkit gained wide popularity in the late 1990s, sold about 40 million records, and received three Grammy nominations.
Significant Other – the second studio album by Limp Bizkit, released on June 22, 1999, through Flip and Interscope. The record expanded the band's sound towards a fusion of metal and hip hop with a more melodic approach compared to their debut Three Dollar Bill, Y'all, earning positive reviews from critics and commercial success – the album topped the US Billboard 200 and sold around 16 million copies worldwide.
