Description

Dead Pigeon is a Ukrainian music band that emerged in the environment of students from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in 1989. Its members started their musical activity in the "Cheremosh" choir. The leader was Lyubko Futorsky, and the band's first musical experiments were acoustic performances, which brought them recognition at the "Vyvykh" and "Chervona Ruta" festivals. In the 1990s, the band actively toured and experimented with their sound, recording several albums. One of the distinctive features of their music is the use of Ukrainian poets' lyrics. After a break, the band returned to the stage in 2023 with a new lead vocalist, Yurko Roketsky.

Eto by "Dead Pigeon", released in 1992, became an important milestone in Ukrainian music. It reflects the spirit of the 90s youth culture, where the band members combined poetry, music, and personal experiments. Roman Chaika recalls how they gathered in a café where their creativity was born among coffee, cigarettes, and poetry. The album was released in a limited edition of 299 hand-numbered copies, with a booklet and insert. The first 100 copies contain the signatures of the band members.

The album contains 2 vinyl records with 18 tracks.
