Metallica – a legendary band formed in 1981 in Los Angeles. Throughout their long career, they have experimented with styles like hard rock, heavy metal, and speed metal, among others.
The $5.98 E.P. – Garage Days Re-Revisited is the first EP by American heavy metal band Metallica, released on August 21, 1987. The album contains cover versions of songs by new wave of British heavy metal and punk rock bands, recorded in Lars Ulrich's garage in California. It is the band's first release following the death of bassist Cliff Burton and the first to feature new bassist Jason Newsted. The album became a collector's classic and was included in the "Garage Inc." album in 1998.
