The Maneken is a Ukrainian electropop band founded in 2007. The band quickly gained popularity in Ukraine and abroad due to its bright sound and experimental approaches to music. The Maneken's work is characterized by a combination of electronic music and live instruments, as well as the use of various musical styles such as pop, rock, folk and indie. This allows the band to create a unique and distinctive sound that cannot be confused with anything else. During their musical career, The Maneken have released seven studio albums, three singles, and a dozen music videos. Their songs have been aired on many Ukrainian and international radio stations, as well as used in commercials and films. The band actively tours around the world, performing at major festivals and concert venues. The Maneken are one of the most popular Ukrainian musicians representing the country on the international stage. And its founder and permanent member is a sound producer of such well-known music projects as ONUKA and The Elephants.
Sale% is the seventh studio album by The Maneken project, released in 2016. It is a conceptual trilogy that reveals new facets of the band's music. The record is characterized by a mixture of styles such as funk, electronica, soul, disco, and indie rock. This combination makes the album a large-scale dance carnival that combines the groovy sound of the past with the technological vibes of the present. Sale% also features important artists of the contemporary Ukrainian scene, such as ONUKA, Brunettes Shoots Bloneds, Sophie Villy, and others.
