The RME Fireface UFX II is a modern USB 2.0 rackmount audio interface that provides 30 audio input and 30 audio output channels. This is an improved version of the Fireface UFX model released in 2010. The Fireface UFX II supports sample rates up to 192 kHz and offers a wide range of connectivity options, including 12 analog inputs and outputs, AES, ADAT, and S/PDIF digital interfaces, as well as USB ports, MIDI and Word Clock I/Os.
This audio interface is equipped with a powerful mixer for monitoring, professional DSP effects, and the latest digital converters, making it one of the best solutions on the market. It is perfect for both high-end home studios and commercial projects thanks to its exceptional flexibility and compatibility, support for direct recording to external USB devices (DURec), and high-performance RME processing hardware.
Fireface UFX II has 60 channels (30 inputs and 30 outputs) and supports a sampling frequency of up to 192 kHz and a bit rate of 24 bits. Thanks to its flexible USB connection, it is ideal for various recording, mixing, and monitoring tasks. Connections include ADAT, AES, SPDIF, and USB, standard on the Fireface UFX II. The audio interface is also compatible with the RME ARC USB remote control.
The Fireface UFX II features premium AD/DA converters, optimized analog I/O circuitry, and improved SNR and THD parameters to deliver crystal clear and transparent sound. New PAD-free ICs with +18dBn maximum input level and 75dB gain range ensure smooth operation in the most demanding stages of recording.
Low-impedance headphone outputs with a maximum output level of +19dBn ensure sufficient power and volume on any headphone, regardless of impedance. Direct recording to external USB devices DURec allows you to record signals from all inputs and outputs directly to external USB devices, such as flash cards or external hard drives up to 2 TB, ensuring independence from the main computer.
The ARC remote control with 15 backlit buttons and an encoder wheel provides simple and convenient control of the UFX II functions. TotalMix FX adds unlimited routing and mixing, allowing you to create independent sub-mixes with EQ, Dynamics, Reverb, and Delay effects for any outputs. TotalMix FX for iPad™ gives you full control over your hardware mixer and DSP effects, allowing you to create, save, and load projects directly from iPad™.
The Fireface UFX II also has two MIDI I/O ports, support for all modern digital standards such as ADAT and SPDIF, and a powerful internal power supply that ensures stable operation of the device in all conditions.
