The Solid State Logic SSL 18 audio interface is a professional studio recording solution created with the philosophy of the legendary SSL brand in mind. Combining innovation with years of experience, it opens up new horizons for musicians, producers, and engineers. At the heart of the device are eight SSL-designed analog mic/line inputs with Hi-Z/Line switching and Legacy 4K enhancement, adding warm analog color inspired by the legendary 4000 series. High-quality 32-bit/192 kHz converters provide up to 125 dB of dynamic range at the monitor outputs, ensuring unsurpassed sound detail.
The SSL 18 allows simultaneous operation of 26 inputs and 28 outputs, and features 10 balanced line outputs with a professional +24 dBu level, making it ideal for integration with external studio equipment. Two independent headphone outputs with different impedance settings allow you to create separate mixes for performers. The system can be expanded thanks to 16 ADAT channels and 2 S/PDIF channels, as well as MIDI input/output. The integrated Talkback input with Listen Mic Compressor adds classic sound crushing, especially effective for drums or vocals.
The SSL 18 mixer in SSL 360° provides full control of all channels with the ability to create up to four independent mixes, mirror routing, and monitor controller setup. Thanks to the SSL Production Pack with plug-ins, virtual instruments, and samples, the interface becomes a complete production center for any modern studio.
