The EMG KH20 pickup system for Stratocaster guitar is the result of a collaboration with legendary Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, who wanted to achieve a powerful, rich tone with controlled dynamics and vibrant harmonics. The system combines three active pickups: a high-powered EMG 81 humbucker for aggressive riffs with superb clarity and cut-through highs, and two EMG S single-coils for versatility and expressive sustain. All pickups are equipped with ceramic magnets that enhance response and provide sustained tone even at maximum volumes. A white pearlescent panel with eleven screw holes further emphasizes the aesthetics and contrasts with the black pickups and knobs. This solution is ideal for achieving Hammett's individual style and is completely ready for installation.
