The DiMarzio D Activator Neck (F-Spaced, Black) offers the exceptional sound quality of an active system without the need for batteries. This model was created after careful analysis of popular active pickups to retain their advantages while eliminating the disadvantages of cold sound, limited dynamic range, and distortion when attacked hard.

The D Activator Neck features unique coils tuned to different resonant frequencies, which allows for amplification of guitar harmonics for a bright, powerful, and rich sound. The F-Spaced modification adds extra comfort for instruments with wide strings or modern bridge designs. Its sound is open and rich in harmonics, with a clear balance between the strings, making it ideal for both rhythmic and melodic parts.

The pickup is paired with the D Activator Bridge, and is perfectly balanced in volume, eliminating the problem of sound drops when switching between positions. The passive design delivers impressive dynamic range and sensitivity to the nuances of the pickup.
