Pickup DiMarzio Fortitude Bridge (F-Spaced, Black)

The DiMarzio Fortitude Bridge (F-Spaced, Black) is a pickup created in collaboration with Joe Duplantier, guitarist and vocalist of Gojira. It embodies the perfect combination of vintage tone and modern versatility. Joe wanted a passive pickup with the character of a classic PAF®, but with enhanced dynamics to capture every detail of his playing, including the subtle nuances of his hands and pickguard.

The Fortitude Bridge delivers the “killer” sound that Joe uses for his riffs. It features a clear, low-end humbucker that works perfectly with a variety of pickups and hi-gain amps. Special modifications include a 160 Hz boost for a richer bottom end and a slight cut in the 500-600 Hz range to avoid “pollution” of the sound.

The model is based on the PAF® 36th Anniversary Bridge and offers a tight, precise tone with a tangible percussive character. The name “Fortitude” reflects the honesty, strength and simplicity of this model. The F-Spaced design ensures compatibility with wide-spaced guitars.
