Pickup DiMarzio Fortitude Bridge (Nickel Cover)

The DiMarzio Fortitude Bridge was developed in collaboration with Joe Duplantier, Gojira's guitarist and vocalist, who is known for his admiration of the vintage PAF® sound. This pickup was created to meet Joe's specific requirements based on his experience with Silver Cord studio experiments.

The main goal was to create a passive pickup with a warm, vintage sound that preserves the natural dynamics of playing. For Joe, it's important that people hear him working with the strings using his hands and the pick, which adds depth, life, and emotion to the sound.

The Fortitude Bridge is great for delivering crisp, sharp riffs and even percussive elements. It is based on the PAF® 36th Anniversary Bridge with a few modifications to achieve the desired tone. In particular, the pickup has a 1.5 dB boost at 160 Hz for bass boost and a slight reduction in the 500-600 Hz region for a more balanced sound.

This pickup is suitable for all guitars and body styles. It combines vintage character with modern versatility, allowing it to be used with both classic and high-gain amplifiers. The Fortitude Bridge is also available in an F-Spaced version for wide string positions.
