Scorpions is a German rock band formed in 1965 in Hanover. The band's most successful period is considered to be from 1978 to 1992. During this time, the band consisted of Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker, Matthias Jabs, Francis Buchholz, and Herman Rarebell. The band transitioned from hard rock to melodic heavy metal, influenced by Jabs and producer Dieter Dierks. They released several platinum albums and reached the top of the charts in both Germany and the USA. The band has released thirteen studio albums that were in the top-10 in Germany, one of which reached No. 1, and three consecutive albums that were in the top-10 of the Billboard 200 in the USA.
Live Bites is a live album by the German hard rock band Scorpions, released in 1995. The album consists of recordings made during performances in various cities around the world between 1988 and 1994. Concerts were held in San Francisco (USA), Mexico City (Mexico), Berlin, and Munich (Germany). Live Bites showcases the band's energy and expertise during live performances and spans the period of their musical career from the late '80s to the early '90s.
