The Sennheiser SK 2000-DW-X bodypack transmitter features a sturdy all-metal housing that provides protection in the toughest environments, while its compact design makes the unit comfortable to use even during energetic performances.

The transmitter offers an extended AF frequency response from 25 Hz to 20 kHz, allowing it to reproduce all the nuances of sound, including the deep fundamentals of a bass guitar. With three RF output power levels, users can choose the optimal mode to increase transmission range or to accommodate more channels within a given band.

The unit supports switching bandwidths up to 75 MHz and provides 20 fixed frequency banks, each containing up to 64 compatible presets. Additionally, there are 6 banks with up to 64 tunable channels each, with frequency steps of 25 kHz. This flexibility helps build a stable wireless system even in challenging RF environments.

A backlit display makes it easy to monitor settings, and an auto-lock feature prevents accidental button presses. Remote configuration and synchronization with the receiver via an infrared interface simplify operation in professional systems. The transmitter also includes RF and AF MUTE functions for full signal control.

An added convenience is support for the BA 2015 rechargeable battery (sold separately), which can be charged inside the transmitter using external charging contacts. This makes day-to-day operation more practical and efficient.
