The DiMarzio Illuminator Neck (Black) is a pickup developed in collaboration with legendary guitarist John Petrucci for his Music Man JP13™. This model is a unique part of the Illuminator™ series, designed to provide the most versatile tone possible, meeting all of John's requirements for his instrument.

The Illuminator Neck features greater clarity, balanced tone, and a wider frequency range than John's previous models (CrunchLab and LiquiFire). It combines power and softness: the pickup demonstrates clarity and transparency at clean settings, while remaining soft and controlled even at high drive levels. With its increased power and expressiveness, the Illuminator Neck is suitable for both intense rhythms and expressive, dynamic solos.
