EMG JA is a set of bass guitar pickups based on the popular EMG J model, but using Alnico V magnets instead of ceramic magnets. As a result, the EMG JA offers a warm and sincere tone with a vintage feel, while maintaining the clarity and wide frequency range of the original J. This set delivers natural presentation, powerful low end, and a distinct midrange.
With a built-in quiet and reliable preamp, the EMG JA is an excellent choice for studio work and live performances. It's equally at home with regular and fretless basses, delivering a balanced and full sound in any situation.
