AudioQuest Black Beauty RCA > RCA (2xRCA - 2xRCA) commutation cable (1 m) is designed to transmit audio signals between audio system components. The cable has solid single-core Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) copper conductors. This ultra-high purity copper minimizes distortions that occur between metal grains.

The cable also uses ZERO-Tech technology, which eliminates the electrostatic field between the conductors and provides linear dissipation of radio frequency noise. This helps prevent distortions caused by impedance mismatch between the cable and connected devices.

Another proprietary technology, Graphene/Carbon Mesh-Network (graphene and carbon mesh), provides shielding from radio frequency noise before it reaches the conductors. The conductors are insulated with foamed polyethylene (Foamed-Polyethylene), which has a high air content, which significantly reduces energy absorption and associated distortions.

The plugs use a Hanging-Silver coating over pure red copper, which improves surface conductivity.
