Connectors AudioQuest SureGrip 100 Banana (Set of 12) (Gold) (12 pcs) are made of beryllium copper. This material is much stronger, has better conductivity and sounds cleaner compared to the usual phosphor bronze or brass used in most connectors. The connectors are gold-plated, while the coating is applied without an intermediate layer of nickel, which causes sound distortion.
The connection system «cold welding» also has a positive effect on signal quality. The cable is fixed with double hex screws. This design provides perfect, tight contact between the conductor and the connector, which is much better than traditional soldering.
