The Cordoba C5-CE CD is a versatile classical guitar that combines high quality materials, great sound, and playability. Thanks to the built-in Fishman Presys II pickup, this instrument is an ideal choice for practice, stage performances, or recording in the studio.
The guitar is constructed with a time-tested combination of fine woods: a solid Canadian Red Cedar top delivers a warm, rich sound with a distinctive midrange, while a mahogany back and neck add depth and sustain. The unique cutaway body shape allows you to reach the upper frets comfortably, which is especially useful for soloing.
In addition to its excellent acoustic performance, the C5-CE CD also sounds great when plugged in. Thanks to the Fishman Presys II active preamp with built-in tuner, you get a natural, amplified sound and the ability to fine-tune the tone.
Fine details like the hand-inlaid rosette, carved headstock, Indian rosewood binding, and high-gloss finish add to the guitar's elegant style. The bone frets improve resonance and intonation, and the anchor rod increases the stability of the neck and allows for its adjustment.
