History
ESI traces its origins to the founding of RIDI multimedia GmbH in 1998 by Claus Riethmüller. Riethmüller began his career as a designer of innovative audio software solutions, combining an interest in music and sound design with software development skills. The company initially focused on the distribution of selected professional hardware and software for the music market.
The name ESI originated from the audio products company Ego Systems, Inc. in Korea. In 2006, ESI Audiotechnik GmbH was established by RIDI to further develop existing ESI products and to offer new audio solutions with innovative ideas. By 2010, all product designs were carried out by ESI Audiotechnik GmbH in Germany. In 2013, RIDI multimedia GmbH and ESI Audiotechnik GmbH were merged into a single company.
Today, product development is carried out at the company headquarters in Leonberg, Germany, with a focus on delivering audio solutions that support your creative work.
