The Yamaha JR2 acoustic guitar is a scaled-down version of the popular Yamaha FG series, allowing you to enjoy the same excellent sound, but in a more compact and portable format.
Thanks to its size, the Yamaha JR2 is ideal for travel. It is lightweight and convenient for transportation and does not take up much space, making it a great choice for travelers and those who love music on the go. The compact shape makes the guitar comfortable for children, teenagers, or people with small hands.
The top is made of spruce, providing clean and warm sound, while the back and sides are made of Mahogany Finish UTF (Ultra-Thin Film). This combination of materials gives the Yamaha JR2 a rich, warm tone, characteristic of full-sized Yamaha acoustic guitars.
The instrument is equipped with a nato wood neck and rosewood fingerboard, featuring 20 frets. The scale length is 540 mm (3/4 of standard scale). Chrome hardware ensures tuning stability.
The guitar comes with a durable gig bag, providing reliable protection during transportation and storage. The strings included are metal, with a gauge of .012-.052.
