The body of the TRBX-605FM is made of alder with a wave maple top, which gives it an impressive appearance and provides an optimal balance between sound density and playability. The bolt-on neck ensures ease of tuning and transparency of sound, and the new mounting profile provides strength, vibration transmission, and easy access to the upper frets. The solid cast bridge efficiently transfers string vibration to the body, providing tight, rich sound and ease of adjustment. The direct arrangement of the strings from the zero fret to the pegs provides excellent tuning stability and minimization of unwanted overtones.
Developed by California-based Yamaha Guitar Development, the YGD H5 pickups deliver a transparent and open sound thanks to a design with four magnet conductors under each string and Alnico magnets. They provide the transmission of the smallest nuances of sound in passive mode and maximum density and drive in active mode. Active/passive electronics provide flexibility in tone control. Advanced circuitry allows you to maintain a balanced level of the output signal in both active and passive modes. Gold detailing on the main circuit improves conductivity and reliability, and an LED indicator on the back panel informs you of battery status.
The Yamaha TRBX-605FM bass guitar is equipped with high-quality D'Addario EXL170-5 strings. These are nickel-plated strings of the XL series, which are known for their reliability and wear resistance. These strings provide a great sound with a bright timbre and excellent dynamics, suitable for both finger playing and blind playing. Also included with the bass guitar are keys for adjusting the anchor and bridge.
