The body is made of basswood, which provides a balanced warm tone with expressive midrange and soft, deep lows. The bolt-on maple neck provides stability and a crisp attack, while the rosewood fingerboard adds transparency and roundness to the highs. Passive electronics with two J-J type pickups allow you to vary the sound from a focused neck tone to a more aggressive bridge tone, as well as combine both for a balanced mix.

Thanks to the proprietary Medium Jumbo frets with J-Standard finish, the instrument is comfortable to play across the entire fretboard. The reliable FGN string retainer and tuning pegs ensure stable tuning, and the D'Addario EXL165 strings are ready to use right out of the box.
