The Shure BLX188E/CVL-H8E is a stationary receiver and two BLX1 handheld transmitters with two CVL microphones. The Shure BLX radio system combines professional sound, simple setup, and a user-friendly interface for legendary sound. The receiver is equipped with a QuickScan frequency selection feature to quickly search for available frequencies and identify a clear RF channel in the event of interference. The system provides up to 14 hours of continuous operation from two AA batteries at a distance of up to 91 meters. The CVL microphone features a cardioid polar pattern that filters out unwanted noise, Commshield RF filtering to minimize RF interference from nearby smartphones, and a frequency response optimized for speech intelligibility. The rugged BLX1 bodypack transmitter has a lightweight, ergonomic design that is comfortable for the presenter to wear. The group and channel selection buttons allow you to quickly and easily match the frequency with the receiver. Other features include an easily accessible on/off switch, gain control and a 4-pin TA4M connector. The BLX88 receiver uses microprocessor controlled internal antenna diversity to improve wireless audio quality and reliability. The LED display shows the group and channel settings, and the LED indicators show system readiness and the strength of the incoming audio signal. The device has 2 1/4" Jack outputs and 2 XLR connectors for connecting to speakers and mixing consoles.
Note: When purchasing individual wireless components, please match their frequency ranges to ensure proper system operation. Shure BLX188E/CVL-H8E operates in the frequency range 518 - 542 MHz.
