The Electro-Voice RE90P-12 is a miniature gooseneck condenser microphone. The return electret provides greater sensitivity, wider frequency response, and better noise immunity than diaphragm-electret microphones. The RE90P-12 has a high degree of RFI/GSM immunity and is mechanically designed for quick and easy installation. For permanent installation, additional accessories are also available for fixed (FMK flange mounting kit) and impact mounting (CPSM impact mounting kit). Frequency response is designed to reproduce full-range sound with a natural pickup optimized for close-range performance. The microphone has two flexible joints and a rigid central tube. The housing has a 3/4" diameter base with a 3-pin XLR connector that allows the microphone to be plugged directly into an existing panel-mount XLR socket. The microphone output circuit uses a transformerless balanced design with low output impedance, typically 200 ohms. This allows you to run very long cables without compromising microphone performance. The RE90P-12 microphone is designed for phantom power with a wide voltage range of 9-52 VDC (DIN 45 596 standard).
