Featuring a one-piece Sitka spruce top, the Yamaha FSX3 delivers a wide dynamic range, rich midrange, and vibrant highs. The bottom and headstock are made of solid mahogany, giving the sound depth, warmth, and natural resonance. The use of A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) technology accelerates the aging process of the wood, which gives the instrument a characteristic vintage sound from the very first day of playing.
The Concert design has a more compact body, making it the perfect choice for guitarists who prefer comfort and expressive tone. The African mahogany neck is combined with an ebony fingerboard and bridge for easy playability, clear articulation, and stable tone.
For performance and recording, the Yamaha FSX3 is equipped with the innovative Atmosfeel pickup system, which includes a piezo sensor in the bridge, a microphone for low and midrange frequencies, and a contact sensor for high frequencies. This combination delivers the most natural, warm and surround sound possible. The intuitive controls allow you to flexibly adjust the sound balance to suit different playing styles, from fingerstyle to rich chords.
The guitar's design embodies the legendary FG series' heritage, retaining the classic V-shaped neck with the iconic Yamaha logo. The black and white body edging and natural matte finish emphasize the aesthetics of traditional acoustic guitars.
