The Rega Planar 6 (Polaris Gray) vinyl turntable is an innovative model that combines high-quality materials and advanced technology to deliver exceptional sound quality. The Planar 6 is built on a lightweight and rigid Tancast 8 foam platter used in the aerospace industry and an HPL laminate that gives the structure strength and scratch resistance. Thanks to these enhancements, the turntable is able to deliver more sonic detail and reduce unwanted vibrations and resonances.
The Planar 6 is equipped with the RB330 tonearm, which was developed using the latest CAD and CAM technologies. This tonearm features exceptional stability and virtually no friction during movement, allowing for accurate and detailed sound reproduction. A new bearing housing and intelligent mass redistribution help reduce resonance points, ensuring a clearer sound.
The kit includes the Neo power supply, which provides precise speed control, electronic speed change, and advanced anti-vibration control. The EBLT Reference drive belt is installed as standard, which guarantees stable speed transmission and playback accuracy.
The Planar 6 plinth is finished in Polaris matte gray with a glossy black polymer finish, giving the turntable an elegant look while maintaining durability and resistance to wear and tear.
