To transfer vinyl to your computer, you need to install a digital audio editor. Such programs are widely available for free download from the Internet (eg Audacity). This is a simple program that allows you to control the volume and balance when transferring audio to your PC hard drive. Audio editing programs include a level meter that shows the output level achieved when playing vinyl. If necessary, adjust the output signal using the 'Level' control located on the front panel. Always pay close attention to the recording level to ensure optimal recording quality.
