The Cort GA1E electro-acoustic guitar is part of the Grand Regal series, based on the popular Grand Auditorium body shape. This model is smaller than the classic dreadnought, but larger than concert and parlour guitars, making it versatile for different playing styles. Thanks to the increased nut width of 45mm, fingerstyle playing becomes more comfortable, which is especially appreciated by guitarists using fingerstyle technique.
The guitar features a solid spruce top, providing excellent sound and long-lasting durability. The back and sides are made of mahogany, creating the perfect balance of warm and rich tones. The combination of these materials has been used in acoustic guitars for many years and has proven to be reliable.
The Cort GA1E’s body is an Auditorium shape with a cutaway, making it easier to reach the upper frets and providing comfort for both strumming and fingerpicking. Its size is between the larger Dreadnought and the more compact Grand Concert, allowing the instrument to be versatile for various playing styles.
The guitar is equipped with Cort CE304T electronics, which include a 3-band equalizer for tone shaping and a built-in tuner for convenient tuning. This allows the player to easily adjust the tone and achieve a clean sound with rich midrange and clear highs.
The guitar’s scale length is 25.5 inches (648 mm), which ensures comfortable string tension. The neck is made of mahogany, providing durability and excellent sound. The ovangkol used for the fingerboard and bridge gives the guitar a natural and pleasant appearance.
