The Electro-Voice EVID-C4.2-G2 is an advanced second-generation ceiling-mounted coaxial loudspeaker designed for installations requiring high sound quality, reliability, and ease of installation. It is equipped with a 4-inch two-way coaxial speaker that provides balanced sound reproduction with uniform coverage and clear detail across the entire frequency range.

A special feature of this model is the EZ-Install system, which greatly simplifies the installation process: installation is quick, safe, and requires no additional tools. Thanks to its compact, low-profile enclosure, the EVID-C4.2-G2 is easy to install even in rooms with limited ceiling space. The grille has a frameless design and is easily attached magnetically, which not only simplifies access to the speakers but also provides an aesthetic appearance.

The built-in transformer allows the system to be used in 70/100-volt lines or in 8-ohm mode, switching between modes is done with a convenient control on the front panel. The housing is made of fire-resistant plastic (UL 94V-0) and the rear is made of galvanized steel. The side cover provides easy access to the 4-pin terminal block, which supports large-gauge cable connections and through-wiring.

The system is UL 1480A, UL 2043, and CSA 22.2 205 certified, ensuring its compliance with current safety standards, including use in ventilation ducts.
