The Electro-Voice EVID-C8.2-G2 is a high-quality ceiling loudspeaker with a two-way coaxial driver, designed for installations where exceptional sound quality, wide coverage angle, and aesthetic design are required. With an 8-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter, it delivers an extended frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz, clear voice reproduction, and rich musical detail, making it the perfect choice for offices, conference rooms, restaurants, and retail spaces.

The integrated EZ-Install system allows for quick and secure installation without the need for complicated manipulations. The low-profile enclosure with an easily removable white perforated grille ensures a discreet presence in any interior. The durable ABS (UL 94V-0) housing and steel back cover ensure longevity and meet the highest safety standards, including UL 1480A, UL 2043, and CSA 22.2 205.

The EVID-C8.2-G2 supports 70/100 V transformer connection with selectable power (3.75, 7.5, 15, 30, or 60 W) as well as a low impedance mode of 8 ohms. Mode switching is performed via a convenient selector on the front panel. Sensitivity of 92 dB SPL at 1 W/1 m and peak power of up to 360 W provide a sound pressure level of up to 119 dB. The 90° coverage angle ensures uniform coverage of the audience without dead zones.

The package includes a mounting ring and mounting frame, allowing the device to be installed even in complex ceiling structures. A 4-pin Euroblock connector provides convenient pass-through connection.
