The Cort LUXE II Electro-Acoustic Guitar (Natural Glossy) is an instrument that combines elegant design, luxurious materials, and modern technology. This model was created in collaboration with Frank Gambale, one of the most famous guitarists in the world. The guitar is equipped with the signature Fishman Flex Blend pickup system, which was carefully tested with Frank.
The guitar’s body is a Concert shape with a reduced size and a deep Florentine cutaway, allowing for an open and dynamic sound with excellent resonance. The top is made from solid Adirondack spruce, which provides improved dynamics and warmth in sound, while the bracing is scalloped to enhance the instrument’s responsiveness.
The back and sides are crafted from Australian Flamed Blackwood, an exotic wood that combines the brightness of maple, the deep lows of rosewood, and the warm midrange of mahogany. This versatility makes the instrument suitable for both fingerstyle and chordal playing.
The guitar features the Fishman Flex Blend system, which allows the player to control volume, tone, phase, and mix with just three simple knobs. An onboard tuner simplifies tuning on stage. This system allows you to play without worrying about acoustic feedback and retains the guitar's natural acoustic sound.
The extravagant design of the Cort LUXE II is enhanced with an ebony fingerboard and bridge, giving the instrument not only fantastic sound but also a luxurious look. Notably, the guitar is finished with an ultra-thin electrostatic lacquer that allows the wood to "breathe," improving resonance and making the instrument more resistant to scratches.
