The Taylor Guitars 114ce electro-acoustic guitar belongs to the popular "100 Series" and features a Grand Auditorium body shape with a smooth Venetian cutaway for easy access to the upper frets. This guitar is perfect for a variety of musical styles due to its versatile size and shape.
The top of the guitar is made from solid Sitka spruce, which ensures a wide dynamic range and a bright, clear sound. The back and sides are made of sapele, which adds pronounced midrange frequencies. The neck is made of mahogany, while the fingerboard is crafted from ebony and decorated with acrylic dot inlays. The bridge is also made from ebony.
One of the standout features of the 114ce model is Taylor’s patented slim neck, which allows for precise intonation during play. The nut width is 43 mm. The guitar is equipped with the Taylor Expression System 2 (ES2) pickup, which accurately captures the nuances of acoustic sound, both on stage and in studio recording. The pickup system consists of three sensors, which make the sound warm and clear. It also features tone and volume controls.
The guitar comes in a natural finish with a black pickguard and includes a branded gig bag for convenient transportation.
