The guitar's body has a reduced Concert shape with a cutaway that provides comfortable playing even on the upper frets. The top is made of solid Sitka spruce, which, combined with the exclusive A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) technology, gives the instrument a warm, balanced sound with deep overtones. The bottom and top are made of solid mahogany, which adds richness and warmth to the sound.

Thanks to the new scalloped soundboard system, Yamaha has been able to enhance the bass and midrange, making the guitar more powerful and loud with excellent dynamics.

The neck is made of African mahogany and has an ergonomic profile that ensures comfortable playing regardless of style. The rounded edges of the fingerboard enhance the playing experience, while the ebony fingerboard and bridge add elegance and clarity to the attack.

For stage performances, the Yamaha AC3M ARE is equipped with the flagship System 71 SRT2 preamp, which combines a clean piezo tone with a warm, studio sound recorded through the legendary Neumann U67 and Royer R122 microphones. You can easily adjust the sound balance thanks to an intuitive control interface that includes an equalizer, volume control, and Auto Feedback Reduction.
