The Yamaha AC3R ARE is a premium electric acoustic guitar designed for those who want to combine exquisite tone, powerful sound, and state-of-the-art technology. Thanks to its authentic acoustic resonance, improved ergonomics, and advanced electronics, this model is ideal for both live performance and studio recording.
The guitar has a reduced Concert body shape with a cutaway for easy access to the upper frets and comfortable playing. The top is made of solid Sitka spruce, treated with A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) technology, which gives the instrument a warm, deep sound with expressive overtones. The bottom and top are made of solid rosewood, which adds clarity, articulation, and layering to the tone.
Based on Yamaha's scientific acoustic research, this guitar features the X-Bracing scaled binding system, which improves resonance and enhances the bass and midrange. This results in a deeper, more open and dynamic sound.
The fingerboard is made of African mahogany, and its ergonomic profile ensures comfortable playing even during long performances. The rounded edges of the ebony fingerboard add a pleasant tactile feel, and the material itself provides a crisp attack and sound stability.
The guitar is equipped with the innovative System 71 SRT2 electronic system, which allows you to combine piezo sound with the modeling of Neumann U67 and Royer R122 studio microphones. This makes it possible to create your own unique tone by combining the clear sound of piezo elements with warm, surround microphone sound. Auto Feedback Reduction helps to prevent feedback during live performances, and an intuitive set of controls allows you to fine-tune the tone and balance of the sound.
