The Cort CR200 electric guitar is an instrument with a classic aesthetic and inspiring tone. It belongs to the Classic Rock series, which blends the style and feel of the "Golden Era" of rock guitars with modern engineering solutions.
The body is made from mahogany, delivering warm, full-bodied tones with pronounced mids. Its carved top and single-cutaway shape give it a familiar LP-style look, while the set-neck construction enhances sustain and completes the classic design.
The Cort Voiced Tone VTH-59 pickups with Alnico II magnets were specially developed for this series to offer authentic, smooth, and organic tones reminiscent of vintage PAF-style pickups. This set is ideal for blues, rock, and other genres that require expressive, dynamic tone.
The CR200 comes equipped with a time-tested Tune-o-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece for solid string anchoring, excellent sustain, and precise intonation. The Graph Tech Nubone nut ensures clean signal transfer with no dead spots thanks to its superior resonance properties.
The neck is made of mahogany with a jatoba fingerboard, providing a smooth playing experience. With a comfortable Vintage "C" profile, 305 mm fingerboard radius, and 24.75" scale length, the guitar offers great playability. It features 22 large frets, pearloid block inlays, and elegant white binding on the body and neck.
The hardware includes vintage-style Kluson tuners with smooth operation and nickel-plated parts for stability and durability. The controls — two volume knobs, two tone knobs, and a 3-way toggle switch — allow for a wide range of tonal possibilities.
Out of the box, the Cort CR200 is strung with D'Addario EXL110 (10-46), ready to deliver bright and powerful tones from the very first note.
