Rock and roll was on the rise in 1957 and the electric guitar was prominent in bands, replacing the saxophone as the primary instrument. The Fender Stratocaster has taken center stage in the hands of legendary musicians and has changed the sound of modern music. The Fender Custom Shop 1957 Stratocaster Relic takes you back to that time with a few guitarist-oriented internals. This Fender Custom Shop '57 Stratocaster features an alder body and maple neck with a '57 style soft V profile. The neatly cut, double-cutaway body has been finished in a Fender Custom Shop Relic finish. This finely crafted finish gives this Stratocaster a one-of-a-kind, unique look. In addition to the Relic body finish, the neck of this Stratocaster has a Heavy Relic finish. There are twenty-one frets on the fretboard. This Custom Shop creation features three '57 Stratocaster Relic singles. The middle pickup on this Stratocaster is reverse polarity. This Fender Custom Shop '57 Stratocaster introduces players to a completely unique Stratocaster experience that is ultimately Fender's.
