One of the key features of this model is the unique Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.). All frets on the neck are set at a slight angle so that each string crosses the frets at a 90-degree angle. This minimizes string-to-fret contact and ensures an even beaker length for each string. The result is a clearer articulation and tone that adds dimension to chord playing.
The neck of this guitar has a compound radius that changes from a smaller (rounder) radius near the fingerboard to a larger (flatter) radius near the end of the neck. This makes it much easier to play chords on the lower frets, reducing the stress of string bending in the high registers.
The body is made of alder with deep contours and rounded edges, which provides comfortable playing and excellent resonance. The guitar is equipped with high quality chrome and nickel hardware that adds to its elegant look. Tuning is accomplished with one volume control, one tone control, a five-way switch, and a mini coil split switch. The glossy finish of the body gives the instrument additional appeal and protection against wear and tear.
The instrument is equipped with D'Addario EXL110 strings, which provide great sound from day one. The vintage GOTOH tuning pins guarantee tuning stability and ease of use.
