The S2 (Stevensville 2) series is named after the second production line created at the PRS factory in Stevensville, Maryland, USA – where the original PRS is made. The S2 Custom 24 takes the original PRS Custom 24 and re-imagines it with a new aesthetic. Retaining the classic combination of maple top and mahogany with a classic body shape and asymmetrical beveled top, this guitar resonates and sounds very familiar.
The versatility of the sound comes from a pair of 85/15 "S" pickups, a tone control with a push-pull switch, and a three-position switch. A familiar one for old PRS fans, and a fresh look for musicians of all genres. The PRS S2 offers the quality and legendary PRS sound at a more affordable price. Made in the USA.
