First appearing in the PRS catalog a few years ago, the stylish Mira model has now finally become part of the accessible SE series. With its characteristic nearly symmetrical body shape, slim comfortable neck, high-performance humbuckers, and solid mahogany construction, the PRS SE Mira is a convenient and reliable electric guitar suitable for both studio and stage. The PRS SE Mira features a mahogany body that delivers a warm tone with plenty of harmonics in the midrange. The neck is made of mahogany and has a PRS Wide Thin profile. Offering modern sensations that will undoubtedly appeal to contemporary players, the Mira also features a silky-smooth rosewood fingerboard that provides a luxurious feel for the fingers.
The PRS SE Mira is equipped with reliable, high-quality hardware that will never let you down during stage performances or studio recording. This versatile instrument derives much of its tone from a pair of 85/15 "S" pickups, based on the remarkable 85/15 humbuckers used in many of the latest American "Core" models from PRS. Delivering high output, these pickups can handle a lot of gain but also perform excellently with clean amplifier settings. Additionally, with the push/pull tone control allowing coil-splitting, you can also achieve smooth single-coil tones!
