The NUX DM-8 is an electronic drum kit that combines innovative technology with exceptional playability. This kit delivers a true acoustic feel and expressive playing through its advanced features.
A key feature of the DM-8 is its expressive hi-hat, mounted on a separate stand for a more natural playing experience. The hi-hat is equipped with a motion sensor and can be easily adjusted to your playing style, allowing you to switch between open, closed, and semi-open positions.
The 12" snare drum stands out for its authenticity, thanks to its rim and shell design. The triple-zone pad allows for realistic rim shots and is suitable for various playing styles, from rock and funk to Latin music. The latest three-point trigger technology ensures balanced sound across all areas of the drumhead. The new 10-inch kick drum fully supports a double bass pedal, featuring a double chain and thick soleplate for more stable strikes and reduced pedal movement.
The DM-8 module includes Group Faders, allowing you to adjust the sound levels for each individual pad, making it easy to create custom drum sets. The module features 30 high-quality drum kit presets for different styles, and you can save up to 18 user presets.
The module also functions as an audio interface, providing stereo audio and MIDI data via USB. This allows you to record tracks directly into a DAW or control sounds from software instruments for studio or live performances. You can record up to 14 separate audio tracks. The DM-8 supports WAV file import via USB, enabling you to build your ideal kit with your favorite sounds. Additional sound customization includes built-in effects such as EQ, compression, overdrive, and reverb.
For practice and recording, the DM-8 includes built-in songs across various musical styles and allows you to record performances on USB. The AUX IN port lets you connect any playback device to play along with your favorite tracks.
