The Cort X500 Menace electric guitar is the flagship model of the revamped X Series, designed specifically for fans of heavy music and extreme metal. Its aggressive appearance, dark aesthetic, and modern ergonomics combine with outstanding tone and playability.
The body is made of mahogany with a maple top, delivering a warm, rich, and tight tone. The neck-through-body construction made of 7-piece maple, amaranth, and panga panga ensures incredible sustain, stability, and easy access to the upper frets. The ebony fretboard with a compound radius (12"-16") offers comfort for both chord playing and fast soloing.
The Seymour Duncan® Sentient (neck) and Nazgûl (bridge) humbuckers deliver deep, aggressive tones with tight attack and clear solos, even at high gain levels. The installed FloydRose® 1000 Series tremolo system allows for expressive playing without tuning issues.
With simple controls — 1 volume knob, 1 tone knob, and a 3-way selector — guitarists can easily shape their sound and focus on performance. The reverse headstock highlights the bold and modern style of the X500 Menace.
