The Fender Limited Edition American Custom Shop Stratocaster DLX (Aged Black) electric guitar is a combination of classic shape, exceptional craftsmanship, and modern tone flexibility that takes the legendary Stratocaster to the next level. This instrument was created in Fender's Custom Shop as a limited edition for those who want more than just a guitar, but a true work of musical art.
The body is made of two pieces of selected ash, covered with Aged Black nitrocellulose lacquer, which imitates the natural aging of the instrument. This finish adds character and visual depth to the guitar, while allowing the wood to breathe and resonate better. The look of the instrument impresses with its vintage charm, but underneath it lies an advanced filling for the most demanding musicians.
The neck is made of a single piece of 2A fire maple and has a 10/56 “V” profile, which fits comfortably in the hand, offering perfect support for both rhythmic and solo playing. The neck is also made of maple with a 9.5” radius, and the 22-fret Narrow Tall scale provides precise intonation and easy banding.
Custom Shop Hand-Wound Fat '60s Strat pickups with medium RWRP deliver a warm, balanced tone with expressive dynamics and a distinctive glassy tone, especially in the pickup positions. The signature Fat '50s Strat Wiring electronics deliver a classic tone with added depth and expression. A five-way switch and traditional control scheme (1 volume, 2 tones) provide flexibility for any style.
The Custom Shop Vintage Synchronized Tremolo bridge adds dynamics and finesse to the tremolo sound, and the vintage pearl white pickguards ensure consistent tuning and precise tone. The instrument comes complete with a branded case, strap, and certificate of authenticity, emphasizing its exclusivity.
