The Fender Vintera II Road Worn '60s Stratocaster (Black) electric guitar is a model that combines the classic sound of the 60s with the iconic design of the Stratocaster. The guitar has an alder body covered with Road Worn nitrocellulose lacquer, which creates the effect of artificial aging and makes the design of the instrument truly vintage.
The maple neck of the guitar with a C-shaped profile has a typical 7.25-inch radius for this series, which is equally comfortable for playing riffs, solos and chords. The neck has a maple top and 21 Vintage Tall frets, which make it easier to bend compared to very low vintage frets. At the same time, Fender Vintage-Style pegs and a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Synchronized Tremolo with Bent Steel Saddles bridge provide tuning stability when using the tremolo knob and other playing techniques.
The electronics of the model fully correspond to the spirit of the 60s - three Vintage-Style '60s Single-Coil Strat singles produce a ringing and «glassy» (chimey) tone with a clear midrange. This tone is ideal for funk, blues and classic rock. A 5-way switch is used to switch between pickup modes. There are also two tone controls and a volume control.
