The Guild Surfliner HH is an electric guitar that combines vintage styling with modern features to deliver great sound and playability. Inspired by the iconic shape of Guild's 60s guitars, this model features a unique asymmetrical poplar body that guarantees comfort for both standing and sitting. The ergonomic maple neck with a maple fingerboard features 23 narrow jumbo frets and a matte finish, making it extremely comfortable for any musical technique.
The electric guitar is equipped with two powerful Guild HB-2 humbucking pickups with Alnico II magnets and metal covers. These pickups provide a rich and detailed sound that is perfect for playing a variety of musical styles, from jazz and R&B to heavy rock and metal riffs. Thanks to its split-coil capability, the HB-2 is capable of delivering both a tight humbucking tone and the brightness of a single-coil tone. The instrument allows you to experiment with the sound thanks to two individual Rocker switches for each pickup.
The Surfliner HH features a Tune-o-Matic bridge with a string-through-body design that provides tuning stability, excellent sustain, and maximum string vibration transmission. The long 25.5” scale adds clarity to note articulation, and the retro-styled design makes this guitar an ideal choice for musicians who appreciate a blend of classic and modern.
