Electric guitar Mooer GTRS Wing W800 (Pearl Black) is a new and high-tech model that features a headless design, fan frets and a built-in GTRS digital processor.

Thanks to the GTRS processor, the guitarist has access to 126 different effects (distortion, overdrive, delay, chorus, reverb, various cabinets, etc.). The processor is also able to simulate the sound of 11 different guitars. In addition, there is a tuner, a drum machine (40 types), a metronome (10 types) and an 80-second looper. The effects can be combined in 4 presets, which are switched using a special Super Knob.

By connecting the guitar to a mobile device via Bluetooth, you can adjust the presets using the free GTRS APP mobile application (downloadable from the App Store and Play Market). You can also use the GWF4 wireless footswitch (purchased separately) to control the sound of the guitar on stage or during studio rehearsals.

The digital processor is powered by a 4000 mAh lithium battery. This allows you to play for up to 10 hours continuously (15 hours in standby mode). The battery is charged via a USB Type-C connector. You can also transfer a digital signal via USB to record audio tracks directly to a smartphone or tablet.

The guitar's deck is made of alder, which creates a balanced timbre with clear midrange and soft, but well-articulated bass and treble. Due to the lack of a headstock and a compact body, the guitar weighs only about 2.5 kg. Another notable feature of the Wing W800 is its multi-scale design. Thanks to fan-shaped frets, each string has its own individual length. Thick (bass) strings are longer, which gives them tension and clarity. Thin (treble) strings are shorter, which makes them softer for bends (braces) and brighter in sound.

The neck is bolted on, has a standard C-shaped profile and is made of roasted maple, which makes it resistant to moisture and temperature changes. The rosewood fingerboard has a radius of 12 inches. The 24 Jumbo frets have wear-resistant cupronickel frets, the nut is steel, and the top fret is bone.

The Wing W800 is equipped with two Alnico V Humbucker (H-H) pickups — TRS HM-2N in the neck position and HM-2B in the bridge. The pickups work in two modes — passive and active. In passive mode, the sound is adjusted using the volume control, tone control and 3-way switch. In active mode (activated by the Super Knob), the effects processor is turned on.

The guitar uses a GTRS HL-I bridge. This is a specialized mechanical system developed by Mooer specifically for the Wing series of headless guitars. Since such guitars do not have a traditional «head» with pegs, all the functionality for fixing and tuning the strings is transferred to the body of the instrument. The bridge combines the tailpiece and the tuning mechanism. The saddles on the HL-I bridge are located at a certain angle and have a large stroke for adjustment. This allows you to perfectly set the height and scale for each string separately, despite their different lengths.
