The PRS SE Custom 24-08 Quilt embodies the signature style and sound of PRS, complemented by premium design and advanced electronics. It is based on the classic SE Custom 24 concept with a mahogany body and maple top, which is decorated with striking quilted maple veneer not only on the body but also on the headstock. It looks luxurious, like an instrument of a much higher class.
The neck is made of maple, has a comfortable Wide Thin profile and an ebony fingerboard, which adds density and brightness to the sound. 24 frets on a 10" radius allow you to comfortably play both chords and fast solos across the entire neck.
Unlike the regular SE Custom 24, this model features a 24-08 system, which is a pair of mini switches that allow each of the 85/15 “S” humbuckers to be split into singles independently. This gives the guitar eight pickup configuration options, from classic double coils to expressive clean singles. This flexibility makes it an extremely versatile instrument for both studio and stage use.
