The NUX Metal Core Deluxe MKII guitar effects pedal offers three amplifier models, each perfectly suited for metal playing styles. Selection between models is made using a convenient 3-position switch that allows choosing between Duo Rect, Fireman, and VH4.
The Duo Rect model simulates the sound of the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, known for its aggressive American metal tone, which became a symbol for bands like Metallica, Tool, and Korn. The Fireman model, based on the Friedman BE-100 amplifier, delivers a bright British tone, popularized by rock legends Eddie Van Halen, Steve Stevens, and Jerry Cantrell. The VH4 model, based on the Diezel VH4, stands out for its versatility and rich tone, making it an ideal choice for professionals.
NUX Metal Core Deluxe MKII supports the "Ampless & Impulse Responses" technology, allowing the use of custom impulse responses (IR) for the most realistic cabinet sound reproduction. Through the USB-C port, you can update firmware and load pedal parameters using the MetalCore software or edit settings via the EFX mobile app.
The pedal also features low power consumption (less than 120 mA) and operates silently thanks to the TSAC-HD technology. Its compact size allows for easy integration into any pedalboard.
